Four songs a Day…..featuring Low Roar..

Hi everybody….all fellow bloggers, friends, music lovers…’s four songs a day series again for today….:)…get immersed in music ……

Today we will travel to Iceland….a beautiful place….haunting, stunning landscapes, so much spaces to dream, northern lights and wonderfully talented musicians….yes everybody, Icelandic music bands are world famous like the country’s landscapes…

Beautiful….isn’t it…?…:)

The music of Iceland includes vibrant folk and pop traditions, as well as an active classical and contemporary music scene. Well-known artists from Iceland include medieval music group Voces Thules, alternative rock band The Sugarcubes, singers Björk and Emiliana Torrini, post-rock band Sigur Rós, indie folk/indie pop band Of Monsters and Men and metal band skálmöld. Iceland’s traditional music is related to Nordic music forms. Although Iceland has a very small population, it is home to many famous and praised bands and musicians.

Now about our today’s band Low Roar, formed in Iceland by California artist Ryan Joseph Karazija after he shifted base to Iceland. He produced most of his music on his laptop in his kitchen because of paucity of budget. But his song writing and singing abilities soon made his band a very respected one in the indie alternative ambient folk genre and got my rapt attention after I heard his haunting song ‘Dreamer’……and that’s the first one we will listen…..

Here’s their next beauty…Patience…

This next one is my big favourite….though dark, it is just a beauty……i hope that you will like this one….:)

Lastly for today I will share Low Roar’s brand new song from their upcoming album Once in a long long while…….song’s called Bones…..enjoy…:)

Until next time…….with love…:)
